You’ll start the Foraging Course with an introduction to the subject of looking for wild food. You’ll look at safety considerations regarding picking food from the wild and finally, you’ll look at various ways to preserve what you pick.
Explore the 110 acre private woodland, meadows and waterways delving into the wonders you never knew were edible including -
Weeds and nettles
Foraging for mushrooms
Gifts from the trees
Herbs and spices
and more….
How you forage and what you forage for will change throughout the course of a year.

The Foraging experience will generally run on Sundays, starting from Early April and continuing throughout the year.
Anyone aged between 8 to 15 will need to be accompanied by an adult.
Your experience will require a little hiking and is situated around a 110 acre private woodland and meadows. This is unfortunately not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Experience Duration: 2 hrs
This experience will last for at least two hours, but you will need to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your start time.
All equipment will be provided at the venue. Due to the nature of the foraging experience, it's important to wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty, as well as footwear with good grip such as hiking boots.
