The new Asym shape provides more comfort for anyone up to 6 ft. and up to 225 lbs, with more room for shoulders at one end and legs at the other end for diagonal sleeping. Testers say that sleeping pads don't move around as much in the Asym. The 30% larger fly provides much better protection from sideways rain and wind.

At 9 feet long (and weighing in at 2lb. 12 oz(1240 g) /300lbs ), the Explorer Deluxe A-sym was designed for anyone under 300 lbs. or more than 6 feet tall. It has great proportions and protection.

This, and the Expedition Asym, provide a new dimension in comfort without the weight penalty of the bigger Safari. There is still space to bring a lightweight pack inside.

The A-sym shape provides more space and comfort when resting on the diagonal.
